Seth Apter Joins the Sizzix Family!

We are thrilled to introduce a new licensed designer to the Sizzix family – the incredibly talented Seth Apter! Launching his first collection with us in June 2025, Seth will be sharing his signature mixed-media artistry ideas across Thinlits dies which are perfect for papercrafts. With his unique vision and passion for collaboration, this debut collection is one you won’t want to miss!

Seth is a mixed media artist, instructor, designer, shop keep, and author from New York City. He came to the world of art later in life, transitioning from a full-time career as a psychologist to being a full-time artist and maker. His artistic practice is based on the concepts of community and collaboration and believes in the power of art to bring people together.

Seth’s work has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions and can be found in numerous books and national magazines. He has also published two books of his own, The Pulse of Mixed Media and The Mixed-Media Artist, with North Light Books. His love of the creative energy that occurs when artists are brought together has led him to spend a great deal of time teaching workshops – both online and in person across the world.

Known for his eclectic and abstract style, Seth has collaborated with numerous brands, including FreeSpirit Fabrics, Impression Obsession, StencilGirl Products, and many more. Now, he brings his expertise and flair to Sizzix!
