How to make:
Die cut out of the tan Neutral Felt, the Bigz Christmas Ornaments (2 per the number of desired cookies), and out of the white felt, the desired number of circle 'ornaments' and 'crescent' shapes (from the same die) for the 'frosting' embellishments, the desired number of FA LA LAs, from the Nostalgic Alphabet die and the desired number of stars from the Bigz Pine Tree.
Snowballs: Trim a variety of Ivory Opulent Cardstock to 6" x 6". Adhere adhesive sheets on the wrong side of each trimmed piece. Die cut out multiple circles (you will need 5 per "snowball") Fold each circle down the center. Peel off the backing of each circle and adhere each 1/2 to an alternate opulent 1/2 circle. For example, adhere the glitter opulent folded 1/2, to the mirror opulent folded 1/2, and adhere that to the pearl, etc. Continue to create a full 3D snowball. Repeat to create the desired amount.
Thread the embroidery needle. Holding two tan die cut cookies evenly together, stitch together, leaving an opening for stuffing. Add the desired amount of polyester stuffing. Continue with the remaining cookies.
With the Glue Gun, adhere white frosting embellishments to each 'cookie. Thread the twine through a wide-eyed needle and poke through the top of each frosted cookie, spacing them along the yarn, leaving a gap for the snowballs, and tie them in a knot.
With the hot glue gun, add a dab of hot glue to the top of the 'snowballs. Using the die pick, poke an end piece of twine into the hot glue. Repeat. Tie in a knot in between each cookie.
Welcome them all home this holiday season! Whether your home is filled with baked cookies from the oven or felt cookies on the mantel, I wish you all a Heartfelt Christmas.
Let your festive juices start flowing! I have a few other ideas all created with the same Bigz die: Wine charms made with Sizzix Surfacez - Shrink Plastic, place cards, treat bag toppers and napkin rings.
