Die Cutting is a quick and easy way of cutting out a shape with a Machine and a Die Set, instead of cutting out a shape by hand! Think of it this way: you’re making biscuits and you want them to be heart shaped. Instead of shaping them by hand you’d go out and buy a heart shaped biscuit cutter. Well that’s what Dies do!

My name is Pete Hughes and I have been working with the Sizzix Brand since it was launched in 2001. I love to dabble in all styles, mixed media makes are a favourite of mine but my real passion is clean, simple and contemporary cards, a kind of visual Haiku.

Alexis

Hi all, I’m Alexis! I love all things paper crafting, cardmaking, floral and rainbow. I enjoy spending time researching unique color palettes and techniques for creating realistic textures for flowers. I also love finding inspiration at local flower markets, interior design websites and through nature hikes.

Josh

Hi I’m Josh, I absolutely love paper craft and mixed media. I have a background in watercolour painting and I am inspired by the illustrations in children’s books, so I love creating cards with character dies. I am also inspired by the outdoors which can be seen in my designs as I enjoy creating scenes with trees, clouds and mountains.

Hey everyone, I am Jess and I have a true passion for floral crafting. I love creating realistic flowers from crepe paper and sculpting foam and creating large bouquets and installation pieces with them. I also enjoy incorporating modern florals into my paper crafting and often take inspiration from nature and my love of travel.

Choose Your Sizzix Machine...

Big Shot

Our standard manual machine cuts most materials up to 15.24cm wide. The cutting pads included in this machine are 15.56cm x 22.23cm.

Big Shot Plus

Does the same as the Big Shot but can cut up to A4. Use this machine to cut your plus dies. The cutting pads included in this machine are 22.23cm x 38.10cm.

Big Shot Foldaway

Like the Big Shot but this machine folds away. This manual machine cuts most materials most materials up to 15.24cm wide. The cutting pads included in this machine are 15.56cm x 22.23cm.
