Born and raised in Southern California, Alexis began papercrafting at 12 years old. She spent most of her college years working at a local scrapbook store. After earning her B.A. in Sociology at the UCSD, she worked in casting for the television industry. But the art world called. As a member of the Sizzix Art Department, Alexis creates art every day. Her inspirations include nature and traveling. She enjoys reading, writing, painting and exploring the world.
