- Cut two square pieces of iron on adhesive paper and blue felt, making sure they are large enough for the Sizzix Bigz Letter dies.
- Back the blue felt with iron-on adhesive paper.
- Die-cut your letters (felt side down).
- Peel off the iron on adhesive backing paper.
- Cut mint felt into two 35cm x 47cm pieces.
- Cut blue and white fabric into two 35cm x 60cm pieces.
- Cut into the bottom two corners of all mint felt and striped fabric pieces – a 4cm x 4cm square cut.
- Place the two mint pieces together and sew side seams and bottom seam, leaving the cut corners open.
- Pinch the corners so the side seam and bottom seam come together and stitch across the open edge.
- Turn right side out.
- Place the two striped fabric pieces right sides together and sew side seams and bottom seam, leaving the cut corners open.
- Pinch the corners so the side seam and bottom seam come together and stitch across the open edge.
- Turn in the top raw edges and press a seam. Pin the pom-pom trim along and around this edge, with the pom poms facing upwards. Trim to fit.
- Sew this seam, fixing the pom-poms in place.
- Insert the stripe fabric into the mint sewn piece, wrong sides together. The stripe fabric should come up taller than the mint.
- Sew all around the top of the mint piece, fixing it to the stripe fabric at the top edge.
- Fold the top of the stripe piece over the mint felt to show the right side and the pom-poms.
- Position your die-cut letters on this striped cuff and fix in place with an iron.
- Where the ‘O’ should be, sew the large button.
