Distressed Heart Bag

Other Supplies: Burlap, Appliqu Accent, Fabric, Hole Punch, Hot-Glue Gun, Pearl Bead, Ribbon

Adhere burlap to both sides of a piece of mat board and die-cut a Heart Bag. Fold along score lines to assemble. Punch a hole on each side of the Bag to attach a handle. Cut a long strip of burlap and wrap along the bottom of the Bag and feed through the holes at each end of the Bag and tie both ends together; embellish with a ribbon bow. Attach an appliqu accent to the Bag. Die-cut branches out of fabric and attach to the Bag. Fold and roll a small length of burlap to form a flower and secure to the Bag with hot glue. Embellish with a pearl bead for the flower center.
