Other Supplies: Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Blending Tool, Graph Paper, Foam Dots, Inks, Fine Line Marker, PVA Glue, Sanding Block, Pin, Ruler
Cut an 8" x 8" square of blue patterned paper and distress the edges using an ink blending tool and sanding block. Cut a 7cm x 12cm rectangle of dark blue paper and a square of pale blue patterned paper, distress the edges of each using a sanding block and attach to the layout with PVA glue. Cut a 20cm strip of pink patterned paper a roughly concertina fold each end before distressing with a sanding block and mounting onto the dark blue rectangle use a pin and ruler to punch a straight row of holes down the length of the pink strip and join up the holes with a fine line marker to give the impression of stitching, repeat the technique on the pale blue square. Die-cut two Vintage Lace out of ivory graph paper and distress with a sanding block before attaching at the top and base of the pale blue square. Die-cut the Heart Frame from dark blue patterned paper and attach to the layout, use the Frame to cut a pink Heart and place this into the centre of the blue frame. Use one of the smaller Heart Framelits to cut the photograph and mount into the centre of the Frame using 3-D foam dots. Use a PC to create and print a sentiment onto pink paper and die-cut using the 42mm Circle Framelits die, die-cut a larger Circle from dark blue card and distress the edges of both before matting together and attaching to the layout using 3-D foam dots. Die-cut three Butterflies, distress the edges with the sanding block and curl back the wings to add a little dimension before attaching them to the layout as shown.
