I used some of my favourite new dies for my card: Sizzix® Framelits™ Die Set 3PK - Snap Happy and Sizzix® Bigz™ Die - Sweet Spring.

I love making shaker cards. In the past I used the foam tape or chipboard, now you can use the We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool or a simply wood burning pen.

How to Make a Shaker Card using Sizzix DieI used the Snap Happy die set, there are three dies in the set. I die cut a polaroid frame and placed it on my acetate sheet.

To create my shaker pocket, I used the fuse tool and traced around the rectangles to seal the plastic together, leaving a small portion open to add the sequins. Make sure you have a heat proof surface. A glass mat or silicone mat is ideal.

I adhered the shaker pocket to my card base behind the polaroid.

Finally I decorated the card with twine, washi tape, brad and two twigs cut out with Bigz die.

Buon venerdì a tutti gli amici e le amiche italiane!

Sono Anna e oggi ho creato una biglietto "shakerato" con tante paillettes che si muovono ad ogni tocco! Una bella sorpresa per chi la riceve.

Naturalmente ho usato alcune delle mie nuove fustelle: Sizzix® Framelits™ Die Set 3PK - Snap Happy e Sizzix® Bigz™ Die - Sweet Spring.

E' certamente una delle mode di quest'anno, ma a me le shaker card son sempre piaciute. In passato per creare le "caselle" dove inserire le paillette, usavo del biadesivo spessorato o meglio ancora, usando la Big Shot, del cartone fustellato, ma ora numerosi tutorial ci hanno spiegato che è possibile utilizzare lo strumento Fuse o più semplicemente un pirografo.

Come vi dicevo ho usato il set di fustelle Snap Happy, che contiene tre bellissime cornici polaroid.

Ecco come ho fatto! Ho tagliato una cornice polaroid dal cartoncino bianco e l'ho appoggiata sul mio foglio di acetato (che in questo caso è decorato), che ho tagliato a misura. Per creare la tasca trasparente, ho usato una normale busta trasparente da ufficio e con lo strumento caldo ho tracciato il contorno di un rettangolo per sigillare la plastica, facendo attenzione a lasciare una piccola apertura per inserire le paillette. Attenzione. per fare questo lavoro, occorre avere una superficie a prova di calore, come una lastra di vetro o un tappetino di silicone.

Con il biadesivo sottile ho poi incollato la tasca con le paillette sulla mia card base, dietro alla polaroid.

Infine ho decorato con un po' di spago, washi tape e due ramoscelli tagliati in un colpo solo con la fustella Bigz.
