Have you seen the new Sizzix dies?! I love foxes! So, I was so delighted when I saw the new Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Card Fox Label Fold-a-Long by Jen Long.
This week I created these adorable cards using this fun set...
It is so cute die sets including 6 dies. I love how these dies do all the measuring and scoring for you. They are so easy to create cards.
When you open the cards they look like this, with the focal point in the middle. You can choose to adhere a photo or stamp a sentiment. You could also die cut the whole panel from a photo.
How to create the card base (there are clear instructions on the packaging):
- Fold cardstock in half and place on top of cutting pad.
- Align the flat edge of the die with the folded edge of the cardstock. Sandwich for Thinlits dies: Sizzix Magnetic Platform, Sizzix Cutting Pad, paper, die (cutting side down), Sizzix Cutting Pads. Run this sandwich through your Big Shot machine.
- Allow the die to slightly hang over the edge of the fold. Fold card.
- Die-cut the inside whole panel. Insert slides into the top and bottom slits of the center.
- Decorate the front and the inside. You can decorate the inside flaps too.
I cut out hearts using the Bigz L die included in the Big Shot Plus Starter Kit. I used Thinlits Die Set 14PK - Frames & Embellishments to die-cut flowers and twigs.
Here you can see both of them closed. They fold down flat so they are easy to send in an envelope.

Avete buttato un occhio alle nuove fustelle Sizzix?! Oltre ai gufi, adoro le volpine! Per cui sono stata felicissima quando ho avuto per le mani la nuova fustella Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Card Fox Label Fold-a-Long by Jen Long.
Grazie a questo set di fustelle, questa settimana ho creato due adorabili ed originali card, piuttosto velocemente.
Il set contiene 6 pezzi e permette varianti e personalizzazioni. Oggi ho voluto provare nel modo consigliato a creare le mie due card. I biglietti si aprono al centro, come un sipario, rivelando il messaggio di auguri.
Si può scegliere di utilizzarle anche come porta foto, incollando una piccola foto al centro oppure fustellare l'intera foto con la sagoma della volpina! Un bel pensiero per una nascita o per la festa della mamma.
Come costruire la base della card (ci sono comunque chiare istruzioni sulla confezione):
- Piegare il cartoncino a metà (va bene un foglio A4) ed appoggiarlo sul piano di taglio.
- Allineare il bordo piatto della fustella base con il bordo piegato del cartoncino. Il sandwich da passare dentro la Big Shot, consigliato per le fustelle Thinlits è questo: Piattaforma magnetica, piano di taglio, cartoncino, fustella (taglio rivolto verso il basso), piano di taglio.
- Piegare la card lungo le cordonature.
- Tagliare il pannello centrale ed inserirlo nelle linguette al centro della card, all'interno. Oppure lo potete anche incollare.
- Decorare con i vari pezzi per creare il muso e la coda della volpe. Potete anche decorare l'interno e le alette, se volete.
- Per ulteriori abbellimenti ho tagliato i cuoricini con la fustella Bigz L inclusa nella Big Shot Plus Starter Kit. Ho usato anche il set Thinlits Frames & Embellishments per tagliare i fiori e i rametti.
Ecco fatto! Spero vi piacciano queste volpine :)
