Hi friends!
Today we use our Sizzix Bigz Die - Owl #2 to make a felt owl, a small puppet that remains standing.
You need
- Sizzix Bigz Die - Owl #2 (657694)
- Your Big Shot (I used my Big Shot Express)
- felt
- needle and thread
- 1 small button
- scissors
- wadding
Step by Step
- Cut the pieces of felt, we need 2 lengths, two eyes, one peak, one heart and 4 wings.
- Cut the legs to the two body parts.
- Sew the peak in the center of the body. Sew the black ball in the center of the eyes and both eyes to the body, on the peak.
- Sew the button on the heart, and the heart to the body.
- Join the two body parts sewn all around, leaving an opening to fill below. Fill with wadding and sew the opening.
- Sew the wings to the sides, two in front and two behind, with a cross stitch cross from side to side of the body joining the two wings (front and rear)
- Crush the owl on the table to flatten the base
- Cut and sew two legs at the base
What do you think? It is a perfect idea for mobile baby, ornaments, etc.

- Nostra Big Shot (io ho usato la mia Big Shot Express)
- Feltro
- Forbici
- Ago e filo
- Cotone sintetico
- 1 bottone piccolo
Tagliare i diversi pezzi in feltro, servono due corpi, due occhi, 1 becco, 1 cuore e 4 ali
Tagliare le zampette separandole dal corpo
Cucire il becco al centro del corpo
Cucire la pallina nera al centro degli occhi, e i due occhi al corpo, sopra il becco
Cucire l bottone sopra il cuore, e il cuore al corpo
Unire i due pezzi del corpo cucendo tutto intorno, lasciando uno spazio aperto per imbottire
Imbottire con il cotone e chiudere
Cucire le ali ai lati, due davanti e due dietro, con un punto a forma di croce che passi da un lato all'altro del corpo, unendo le ali
Schiacciare il gufetto sul tavolo per appiattire la base
Tagliare due grosse zampe e cucirle alla base
Che ne dite? E' un'idea perfetta per un giostrina o per dei pensierini teneri e coccolosi.

Hoy usaremos nuestro troquel Sizzix Bigz Die - Owl #2 para hacer un búho de fieltro, un pequeño muñeco que se mantiene de pie.
Materiales
- Sizzix Bigz Die - Owl #2 (657694)
- Nuestra Big Shot (yo usé mi Big Shot Express)
- Fieltro
- Tijeras
- Aguja e hilo
- Guata
- 1 botón pequeño
Cortar las piezas en fieltro, necesitamos 2 cuerpos, dos ojos, 1 pico, 1 corazón y 4 alas.
Cortarle las patas a las dos piezas del cuerpo.
Coser el pico en el centro del cuerpo
Coser la bolita negra en el centro de los ojos, y los dos ojos al cuerpo, sobre el pico.
Coser el botón sobre el corazón, y el corazón al cuerpo.
Unir las dos partes del cuerpo cosiendo todo alrededor, dejando una abertura debajo para rellenar.
Rellenar con guata y coser la abertura.
Coser las alas a los lados, dos por delante y dos por detrás, con una puntada a cruz que pase de un lado al otro del cuerpo uniendo las dos alas (delantera y trasera)
Aplastar el búho contra la mesa para aplanar la base
Cortar dos patas grandes y coserlas en la base
Qué os parece? Es una idea perfecta para móviles para bebés, adornos, etc.
