Video Tutorial: Festive Bird Shaker Card
It's Natalie here today and I'm a big fan of shaker cards too! I love creating this interactive element to my projects because it adds such a playful twist, and no matter what you're age you can't help but be drawn in and want to give it a good shake!!

There are a number of ways of making shaker cards and Anna shared her version earlier today (I'm considering it a case of 'great minds thinking alike!) But my technique is quite different and I'm going to share it in a video tutorial today so you can see exactly how I go about it.
I'm using the Sizzix® Thinlits™ Die Set 3PK - Festive Bird as my main focal piece. It's got this large open area down the bottom which makes it the perfect kind of die for turning into a shaker card because it allows the opportunity to turn it into a 'window' and have the sequins shaking around behind it. However it is also quite delicate and intricate which offers up a few challenges - but these are easily overcome with a couple of tricks that I'll also share in my video.
I'm actually really pleased that I'm already making a start on my Christmas cards this year, and I'm sure the future recipients of these cards are just going to love them!
