How To Create two lovely cards using Sizzix Sidekick

Hello, everyone! This is Anna.

Today, I share how I created two lovely cards using Sizzix Sidekick.

You Will Need:

I am showing you a little demo of the die-cutting machine: Sizzix Sidekick. It's very cute and concise die-cut machine! I just think it's adorable and perfect for small projects.

You can find two types of Starter kits from your favorite shops: Sizzix Sidekick Starter Kit (Brown & Black) featuring Tim Holtz designs (662535) and Sizzix Sidekick Starter Kit (White & Gray) (661770).

The Starter Kit comes with all the accessories to get you started. The kit includes Sidekick machine, a pair of cutting pad, an embossing pad, a set of dies and coordinating stamps, embossing folder. The Sidekick boasts a suction lever on its side, allowing you to vacuum seal it to the table, allowing for no-slip ease of use.

What I love about this machine is the size: it fits perfectly on my work desk which makes it great for my smaller dies.

To cut dies, simply use the two clear cutting pads and create a "sandwich": cutting pad, Thinlits die, cardstock, cutting pad. Then run this through the Sidekick.

Now I am showing you two lovely cards using the items from the Starter Kit and other Sizzix dies.

The Sizzix Sidekick Side-Order sets will work perfectly with the Sidekick. Many of my Thinlits work great in this machine, which means I will use them more.

I used the stamps (included on the Starter Kit) to embellish the pieces I cut out . The "Hello" and "Thank You" stamps nest very well within the included circle die, and two hearts die have the matching hearts stamps. If you are not familiar with clear stamps, simply peel them off the acetate sheet, stick them on an acrylic block for clear stamps, and voila!

Mix and match, have fun with this, the possibilities are endless!
