It’s week four of the home series and this week we are looking at the dining room!

For some people the dining room is only used on special occasions and for others it’s used every day! They say eating dinner together as a family is one of the most important bonding times you can have, which is why we can’t wait to create the perfect room.

We’ve got together some of our favourite ideas for creating DIY pieces for the dining room, from homemade centrepieces, to drinks trolleys and upcycled dining tables. There’s plenty of creative ideas you can use to create the perfect room!

Here’s some of our favourite ideas for you to try:

We love these vintage style drinks trolleys for the dining room! They can be used for anything, whether it’s for making cocktails or serving afternoon tea. They can be easily upcycled with metallic paint or stripped back to create a distressed style.

Grab a sander and some of your favourite chalk paints to create the perfect table. We also love the idea of adding patterns through stencilling, it’s perfect for creating an eye-catching piece.
