It's Natalie here from One Scrappy Doctor, and before you jump to conclusions and think I believe Christmas shouldn't involve sparkles then let me show you the entire sentiment for this card....

And I totally believe it!
I find that Christmas is the excuse that I've been looking for to add as much sparkle, glitter and bling as I possible, to all my projects. It's definitely the time of year when I can get away with it!

Let me share some of the details for how this quick and cute card came together.

I used two different sets of Sizzix Christmas dies, and picked the particular dies from each set that I wanted. I chose the poinsettas and leaves from the Box, Pillow and Poinsettias set, and the holly out of the Festive Fancies set. Mixing and matching like this can give a fresh feel to your project even if you've used the die sets a million times before.

I cut some of them out of glitter paper and because this paper can be a little tougher to get a clean cut on the first time I found that using the Precision Base Plate helped enormously. The other pieces I cut out of plain cardstock or patterned paper, but added a few extra sparkly details to the edges of some of them.

I assembled all my pieces together in layers and arranged them around my card. I scattered a million sequins in the matching colour scheme and called it done. I love how Sizzix makes my Christmas crafting so easy to achieve!
