Quick Floral Card
Hello, friends! This is Jasleen, and today I’m sharing a quick clean and simple card I made using Sizzix Thinlits Mix and Match flowers die set.
White card stock, gray card stock, Patterned paper-lawn Fawn, Enamel accents, Sentiment stamp-Jane’s Doodles.
But, today, I want to share how this die set can be used to make clean and simple floral cards too. Personally, I’m a big fan of CAS and minimalistic cards and I really enjoy making them the most.
For making it, I took a 4 by 5 inches gray panel and passed it through the Big Shot Express along with stitched edge die from Sizzix Stitched Rectangles die set. That gave this gray panel a faux stitched look on all the four sides.
Then I used the biggest flower die to get a negative die cut floral space over the same gray panel.
Over a white card base, I roughly marked the place where the gray panel with the negative space will be placed, and suitably adhered a yellow patterned paper over it. Then I popped up the gray panel over this base using 3D foam tape.
I die cut a smaller flower using the same set from a white card stock. I curled the petals of this flower with the help of a quilling tool handle(or you can go for anything curved) to give some dimension and adhered it in the negative floral space. Added a black enamel accent right in the center of the flower.
Finished off the card with a heat embossed sentiment strip.
That’s it! :)
Hope you like this card and feel inspired to make something similar.
