With the wind outside tearing the tiles off the roof, it's a good time to remember that Spring is just around the corner...

You will need

Yesterday I bought my wife some Daffodils. We always look out for them after New Year, my wife loves them because they are a true herald of spring where I come from. The Daffodil is the national flower of Wales and they start to sprout up along grass verges on the outskirts of Welsh towns from February onward although they rarely bloom until March.

As I was leaving for work this morning (in the dark!) I started singing to myself, 'You make me feel so young, You make me feel like Spring has sprung' the classic version of which was recorded by Frank Sinatra on the album 'Songs for Swinging Lovers'.

When I got to work and set about creating today's blog selecting from our new collection the Spring Time Thinlits set jumped out at me. I borrowed some other lyrics from songs on the album as sentiments and the rest is easy as they say...

lovely fresh colours, simple composition, lots of white space!

Two colours, well one if you don't count white!

Lovely classic bicycle die and a few adhesive pearls for good measure.

I love the colours and simple composition on this one.

Well I do hope that I have helped you dust of some of the post New Year cobwebs, More new dies on the way.

I will be On Hochanda launching the new die range from Tim Holtz on February 6th so I may see you then?

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon
