Monkey Slider Card - VIDEO
Hello, everyone! Anna is here.
I have a fun new birthday card to share with you today that I created with the Big Shot and Sizzix Dies: Monkey Slider Card with Video tutorial. I created this card using the monkey and bananas from the Sizzix Bigz L Die - Jungle Animals! To see how all of this is done, you can follow my tutorial.
You Will Need:
- Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway Machine (White and Grey) (662220)
- Sizzix Bigz L Die - Jungle Animals (663493)
- Sizzix Accessory - Cardstock Sheets, 80PK (20 Colours) (663007)
- Sizzix Accessory – Multi-Tool (662875)
- patterned paper
- euro cents
- sentiment tag (Crate Paper)
- Distress Oxide (Ranger)
- foam board tape
This type of card is called “Penny Slider Card”, even though I used Euro cents!
This spinning card, like any with moving parts, is always a huge hit with kids. If you move the card, the monkey should slide back and forth (even rolling)!
You make your monkey go straight, because it's easier.
Have you ever made a Slider Card? If you've always wanted to know how then make sure to watch this video tutorial!
You can choose any type of dies to create this card. For my card I cut out the monkey and bananas.
I just cut a piece of patterned paper that was as wide as my card and then used a Cutting knife from Sizzix Accessory – Multi-Tool to create the slot. Use the foam tape to between the two cents to create a sandwich and insert your sandwich into the slot you created.
Then adhere your monkey on top of the cent. Here's a little video tutorial so you can see how it moves!
