Hello everyone! How are you doing? I hope you are all having a great week.

This is Deepti Stephens and I'm here to show you something really fun and interesting project today. Last week I shared The Rockstar Bear Softee and this week I'm gonna share how you can convert the Bear Softee into a few animals like cat, pig, rabbit and etc! This Bear Softee is so versatile and there are so many possibilities to make different types of animals.

But today, in this post, I have Cats and Pig softees and also I'm going to share a tiny pictorial on how I made the Cat. So without further ado let's get started!

The Sizzix Products I used are

The Other Items I used are

  • Felt Fabric
  • Pillow Stuffing
  • Gingham Cotton Ribbon
  • Fabric Paints
  • A Needle and a thread
  • Scissors

So now, let's jump into the procedure!

1

Step 1 - Die-cut the felt fabric with Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine (White & Gray) and Sizzix Bigz Plus Die - Bear Softee using two cutting plates.

2

Step 2 - Now mark the lines with pencil on to the fabric. You can reduce the sizes of the body parts according to the animal that you are going to create and this one is going to be a Cat. It's very easy, you know!

3

Step 3 - Trim off the excess and sew along the edges leaving an opening for the pillow stuffing!

Step 4 - Once the sewing and stuffing part is done, add eyes and nose and mouth with fabric paints or you can use a black thread for eyes and a pink one for nose or you can also use googly eyes and buttons and etc. And that's it! You're done!

In the same way, I created the Pig too. You can make tiny accessories like bows, hand bags and etc with the left over pieces of felt fabric. :)
