DIY Christmas Card Display Video tutorial
Hello crafty friends! This is Anna with a new project: DIY Christmas Card Display | Video tutorial.
I know it is only October but many crafters are already starting to think about their Christmas crafting. With the new Sizzix Christmas range I thought I would start sharing some Christmas inspiration!
You Will Need:
- Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway Machine (White and Grey) (662220)
- Sizzix Bigz Die - Noel (662973)
- Sizzix Bigz Die - Fir Tree (662585)
- Sizzix Bigz Die - Snowflake Decoration (663003)
- picture frame (Ikea)
- chicken wire
- small clothespins
- fleece fabric
- harness bell
- staple gun
- wire cutters
Here's an easy project you can put together to show off some of those cute greeting cards you're will receive. You can create a frame holder with just a few items you may already have around the house. Simply use an empty frame.
I found the chicken wire at hobby shop, but you can also find it at hardware stores. The size is not perfect for my frame, but it's okay... this is gold colour, perfect for Christmas!
I placed my chicken wire into your frame and I stapled this on the back. If you bought more than needed cut it with a wire cutter so it will fit your frame.
I decided to make it festive so I cut out some Christmas shape wit my Big Shot Foldaway. I used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Noel to cut out the word from chipboard with gold foil (I reused a cardboard tray from the pastry shop).
Attach all your Christmas cards with your clothespins!
I love my DIY Christmas Card Display! It's perfect for displaying on a table, you could hang it on a wall or door.
