BROOCH

I started out by running the canvas cloth and Tattered Poinsettia Bigz Die through the Big Shot Express Machine.

Next I colored the die cuts with Fabric colors. In my imaginary world, my Poinsettias are of different colors. So I colored them with several fabric colors.

Next I adhered all the petals together with fabric glue. For this I followed the sample flower that is present on the packaging sheet and also colored the petals accordingly. I adhered a tiny glittery enamel dot at the center of the flower!

Once the flower is dried up, I turned it over, squeezed generous amount of strong glue and placed the safety pin. And I let it dry completely for sometime!

And there we have it! A beautiful Brooch! I love how it changed the look of my old sweater! So cool! :D

HAIR CLIPS

The process for this project was just the same as above but instead of a safety pin I adhered a plain hair clip at the back of the flower.

But before adhering the hair clip I die-cut the smallest of the circles from Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK , adhered it to the flower and then I squeezed some strong adhesive and placed the hair clip on top of it! ;)

Look! How my nieces (4 & 3 years old) were posing to the camera! We were very uncertain while clicking this picture! ;) But I think those hair clips were good on them! :P
