To Make

Step 1. Cover the circle cake board with Memoranda paper using Distress Collage Medium and trim to fit.

Step 2. Die-cut Bouquet Thinlits® from Distress Watercolor card.

Step 3. Trim the Bouquet die-cut into sections and adhere to the edges of the circle using Distress Collage Medium Matte. Trim to fit and apply a coat of Distress Collage Medium Matte over the entire circle. Once dry, sand the edges to neaten and reveal the white core of the paper.

Step 4. Scribble the Fossilized Amber and Wild Honey Distress Crayons over the Bouquet die-cuts, working the crayon into the crevices with your finger and wipe back to lighten certain areas using a piece of kitchen roll. Apply Vintage Photo Distress Crayon in the same way around the edges of the circle.

Step 5. Fix Tim Holtz®/Sizzix Adhesive sheet to lightweight white card, remove the adhesive backing and fix to felt from Sizzix Neutral pack.

Step 6. Die-cut the Tim Holtz®/Sizzix Bunny Hop Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card and felt, darken the edges of the bunnies with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool and fix together. Ink the flower and bow tie images from Tim Holtz®/Stampers Anonymous Crazy Things with Black Soot Distress Archival ink, stamp on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card coloured with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink, fussy cut and fix to the bunnies along with self adhesive pearls. Adhere the bunnies to the panel using Tim Holtz®/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.

Step 7.

Die-cut the Falling Hearts Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card and card colored with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink, layer to create dimensional embellishments and ink the edges with Walnut Stain. Die-cut “LOVE” from Distress Watercolor card using Alphanumeric Classic Lower Thinlits and again layer. Adhere the hearts and letters to the panel using Distress Collage Medium Matte.

Step 8.

Adhere Tim Holtz®/Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to Distress Watercolor card and die-cut the wording to complete the sentiment using Alphanumeric Tiny Type Thinlits. Peel the backing from the letters and arrange around the edges of the circle.

To finish I added a yellow Crinkle Ribbon hanger, bow and twine to decorate the Art Panel.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and I’ll be back soon to share more projects with you using the Tim Holtz®/Sizzix Chapter 2 release. In the meantime, Happy Crafting.
