Hey everyone, Happy Wednesday! Some of you may or may not know this about me but as well as being a serious Sizzix Lifestyle crafter I am also a primary school teacher. We are currently a bit over half way through our school year here in Australia but I know some of you overseas are gearing up for a new school year starting so I thought I would get into the spirit of that (and I am totally biased, who am I kidding?) and create a fun little gift that could be made for a teacher in the new school year. These Apple Box dies compatible with the Big Shot Plus Machine are totally adorable right!?! What's even better is that they are on sale in the Sizzix Lifestyle online store right now too!

I created my little apple box using the traditional red and green cardstock that can be found in the cardstock sheets pack in the Making Essentials collection. The great thing about this die is that all I needed to do was fold along the score lines and piece the box together. A little tip to help these cuties stick together is to use a high tack adhesive tape, I used a red high tack tape for projects like this. Once the main box was assembled I used a toothpick and the leaf die cut to add to the top centre. I finished the box with a little 'bravo' die cut piece that I had in my stash.

How sweet would it be to fill the box with little treats for your childs new teacher? I'll leave that part up to you!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Making Journal today.
