Die-cut out of ivory cardstock the match box elements from the Matchbox Bigz L die.
With the Blending Tool Head, create a distressed effect on the corners of the box elements by blending Gathered Twigs ink. Begin blending from the corners inwards. For a darker tone, apply additional layers of ink rather than adding pressure to the Blending tool, as this will create an even blend.
Apply Gathered Twigs ink to a chosen calligraphy style stamp. Take most of the ink off the stamp by stamping directly onto a scrap piece of paper. Stamp the design randomly over the die cut elements. Do not apply additional ink to the stamp, the faded stamping will create the appearance of a distressed and aged matchbox.
On top of the stamped calligraphy text, stamp faint postage style designs with Barn Door and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks.
Fold along all the embossed lines on the die cut lid and box elements. Fold the box together and apply liquid adhesive to the necessary tabs to hold the sides in place. Additionally, assemble the lid into a dimensional rectangle shape and adhere the outer two tabs together with liquid adhesive. Slide the inner box inside of the match box lid.
Wrap string around the outside of the box a desired quantity of times. Attach desired Ideology Tag Labels and Adornments to the ends of the string and tie them in to place on the front of top of the matchbox lid.
