Instructions

Other Supplies: Taupe cardstock, Double-sided tape

  1. Cut out the box shape twice in light yellow and twice in taupe.
  2. Cut out two ear shapes in taupe and two in dark yellow.
  3. Cut out one muzzle, six whiskers and one rounded ear in white.
  4. Cut out one pointed ear and four whiskers in dark yellow.
  5. Cut out four eyes in black.
  6. Cut out one triangle nose in light pink.
  7. Using double-sided tape, assemble the two boxes in light yellow and taupe.
  8. On the light yellow box:

    1. Glue the pointed ‘ear’ in the middle of the box as a beak.
    2. Tuck the two dark-yellow ‘ears’ behind the front of the box and glue in place as wings.
    3. Glue the eyes in place.
    4. Arrange the four ‘whiskers’ at the top of the box and glue in place as feathers.
    5. Add a small piece of double-sided tape at the top to close the box.
    6. On the taupe box:

    7. Glue the white muzzle in the centre of the box.
    8. Glue the pink triangle nose on top of this.
    9. Slightly curl the white whiskers and half glue them in place either side of the muzzle, so they curve up slightly from the surface of the box.
    10. Glue the eyes in place.
    11. Tuck the white ‘ear’ into the join at the side of the box and glue in place.
    12. Arrange the taupe ears at the top of the box and glue in place.
    13. Add a small piece of double-sided tape at the top to close the box.
