Artist: Pete Hughes, Sizzix

Theme: People & Clothing

Other Supplies: Assorted Cardstock by My Mind’s Eye (Lost & Found Range), Corrugated Cardstock (Inspire Me Papers), Ink (Tim Holtz Distress), Blending Tool, Metallic Powders, Sanding Block, Foam Dots, PVA Glue

Cut an 8" x 8" square of the brown patterned paper and roughly tear a strip of the text patterned paper before attaching across the bottom half. Use a PC to create and print a sentiment before die-cutting with the Framelits Oval from the centre of frame set. Die-cut a larger Oval from the brown patterned paper and mat together before attaching to the layout with 3-D foam dots. Die-cut the Gears, Butterflies and Frame from brown corrugated cardstock. Use various colours of ink to give the die-cuts the impression of rust and brush with gold Perfect Pearls powder to give a metallic sheen. Die-cut a strip of Vintage Lace from the text patterned paper and distress with ink and embossing powders. Attach all of the elements to the layout using a combination of PVA glue and 3-D foam dots where you wish to add a little dimension. Finally, Die-cut the photo and attach in the centre of the frame.
