A "Merry Christmas" card by Gerry
Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!Today I am sharing another Christmas Card I created forone of my closest friends. Yes, I am still busy with myhand-made Christmas cards - still a few to go :-)The base of the card is made of white cardstock.It`s a double card with a diameter of 12 cm.After adhering the pattern paper a puffy paintwas added to the edges.* * *The Snowflake Frame was cut once from the pattern paper butonly less than the half was used for the card.The snowflakes were covered with puffy paint.I used the Bird Cage die as Christmas ornaments here.They were die cut from both corrugated cardboard and pattern paper.Once adhered on top of each other I added Glossy Accent.Final touch was to add Stickles and the phrases.The little swirl was cut out from the Ornate Hanging Sign.OTHER PRODUCTS I USED:Maja Design - "Vintage Frost Basics" CollectionPrima Marketing - christmas phrases* * *Dutch TranslationFijne Zondag allemaal mijn beste Sizzix vrienden!Vandaag deel ik een kerstkaart met jullie die ik voor eenvan mijn beste vrienden heb gemaakt.Jawel, ik ben nog steeds kerstkaarten aan het makenNog maar een paar te gaan* * *De basis van de kaart is witte cardstock.Het is een dubbele kaart met een diameter van 12cm.Nadat het patroonpapier was bevestigd heb ik puffy paintaan de randen toegevoegd.* * *Het Snowflake Frame was eenmaal uit het patroon papier gestanst,enkel de helft echter is gebruikt voor deze kaart.De sneeuwvlokken zijn ook voorzien van puffy paint.* * *I used the Bird Cage die as Christmas ornaments here.They were die cut from both corrugated cardboard and pattern paper.Once adhered on top of each other I added Glossy Accent.Final touch was to add Stickles and the phrases.* * *Ik heb de Bird Cage stans als gebruikt als kerstdecoratie.Deze zijn gestanst uit zowel golfkarton als patroonpapier.Nadat ze op elkaar zijn bevestigd heb ik Glossy Accent toegevoegd.De final touch waren de Stickles en de phrases.* * *De kleine krul is gestanst uit het Ornate Hanging Sign.* * *Thank you for visiting today!

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!Today I have another seasonal card to share with youwhere I am mixing new and old awesome Sizzix dies.* * *Card Size: 10.2 cm x 15.5 cma. Once, using pattern paper and b. Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!Today I am sharing with you a tag I created featuring two ofthe recent Sizzix releases and of course mixing them with old dies.* * *For this gorgeous ornate frame I used the Framed Silhouettes.My first step was to stamp the frame by using Embossing Powder.

Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!Today I prepared for you a Christmas Card using somegorgeous new & old Sizzix dies.* * *Card Size: 12.5 cm x 14cmTo make the circle I used two different dies.From the Frame Layers & Flower #2 die I used the inside circleof the doily which is the solid, main circle.Then I used the Frame, Snowflake die as this one I usedas a frame. I distressed with ink and adhered on top of thesolid circle.The round shaped dates you see are fussy cut from thepattern paper and then glued on top of the die-cut snowflakes.I love this new set with long labels - it`s so intricate andbeautiful.

Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!Gerry here today to share with you a greeting cardI created for my blog post today.* * *Card Size: 13.5 cm x 13.5 cmI used sand paper to distress the embossed parts of my background paperso it will pop up.The title was the the last touch I added to my card.I didn`t have the size and font I liked to use as a titleso I used a computer font and printed the word "Congratulations",distressed it with ink and adhered it on the card.I used Karen Burniston's Funky 3D Label as a base of the bookplate.My card has dimension as I use different layers and....generous amount of foam squares :-)OTHER PRODUCTS I USED:Maja Design "Walking in the Forest" collectionWebster's Pages Silhouette resinPrima Marketing fabric flower* * *Thank you for visiting us today!

Happy Sunday Sizzix Friends!I hope you are all doing well.For my blog post today I prepared an everyday card.* * *For this card I hand made the flower by using Susan's Garden Flowers, Sunflowers.My flower looks different because I chose to use different colourswhich turned it into another flower.What I added to the tiny flourish in the middle are small yellow beadswhich pop up and give totally different look.The Ornate, Frame was die-cut twice from two different pattern papers.The frame was adhered on the front of the card upside down.OTHER PRODUCTS I USED:

Ik heb gele kraaltjes in het midden toegevoegd boven op de kleine bloemblaadjes.

Ik heb de Ornate, Frame tweemaal gestanst uit twee verschillende patroon papieren.
De oval lijst heb ik onderste boven op de kaart geplakt.

Last month I taught classes in three different countries and
what they all had in common was the Sizzix products :-)

A "Santa's Coming" Card by Gerry van Gent
Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!For my blog post today I created a seasonal cardusing new Sizzix dies which I simply adore.Card size: 10.5 cm x 15 cmI added Perfect Pearls to the snowflakes for more playful look :-)The snowflakes were die-cut a few times each size andlayered on top of one another.I die cut the Wintery Florals once using white cardstock.I fussy cut two florals with leaves which I used separately to decorate the snowflakes.Other Products I used:Webster's Pages - "A Christmas Story" collectionRanger Perfect Pearlswhite cardstockI hope you enjoyed my card today!Have a creative Sunday!Gerry
A Tag by Gerry van Gent
Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!For today's post I prepared for you a tag where I included a photo.It`s a tag about one of my passions - photography.* * ** I decorated the right side of the tag with a cut-out from the Hanging Sign.** Orange doily, under the framed photo, is part of the Doily & Doily Border die set.*** When I die-cut the butterfly I sprayed water and I wrinkled it to give more texture.For the title I mixed two different alphabet sets for more fun look.And now a few photos from the Scrapbook Werkstatt Mega Event in Germanywhere I gave two workshops to two BIG classes. I enjoyed teaching there so much!And....the students enjoyed working with our Sizzix machines and dies.I really had to bring not one........but all 3 Sizzix machines with me so everybody could have enough timeplaying and experience the excellent quality of the products.And one of the lovely and talented students having fun withthe die-cut fence by Eileen Hull...* * *And four more days to my next event situated in Stockholm, Sweden.If you are in Sweden, please, join me at Stockholm ScrapClass Eventwhere I will be teaching fun classes - of course with Sizzix products as well!Thank you for joining me today!I hope you enjoyed my tag.
"Have A Jolly Holiday!" Card by Gerry van Gent
Hello Everyone!I have a card to share with you that I createdfor my blog post today.* * *Here are a few close-ups for you....*The smallest size of the Trees, Leafy was die-cut from white cardstock.** White pearl drops were added to the centres of the embossed Winter Snowflakes.I used only part of the Frame, Fancy Rectangle mainly to decoratethe Gift Tag. Today I have two projects to share with you.
My first project is an altered item where I used a silhouette photo
of my daughter I "placed" in her dreams.I created the fence by die cutting Garden Gate twice from corrugated cardstockand pattern paper. I didn`t use the whole gates but part of them.Then I distressed with ink and decorated with embellishment.Behind the photo I adhered Mariposa butterfly.For the tutorial how I created the butterfly with lace pleaserefer to one of my older blog posts (Father's Day Tag; 9 June, 2013)Other Products I used:Prima Marketing pattern papersPrima Marketing flowersPrima/Ingvild Bolme embellishmentsPrima/Ingvild Bolme Chalk edgersLets Get Beeze MDF wall clock* * *My second project today is a card where I handmade the flowers & leavesby using the beautiful Dogwood Flower dies.The Dogwood flowers were made of pattern paper.For the centres I mixed Transparent and Yellow liquid drops.The leaves were die cut from white crepe paper.
