Hello everyone! This is Deepti Stephens and I'm here today to show you how I created this 'Miss You card'.
The Sizzix products that I used to create my card are Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine Only (White & Gray) Item #660020, Sizzix Bigz Die item #A10675 - Cat, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Woodgrain #3 Item #660408 and Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles Item #657551
This little cat is missing his family and he is thinking about them and he is feeling that things are better when people are around! Do you miss your family? Okay! so let's get started with the card!
First, I die cut the cats and small circle and embossed the panel and kept ready everything before starting making card.
Then I took another panel, ink blended the night sky with Picked Raspberry, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress inks. As you can see that I didn't blend a tiny portion on the top right corner because that is going to be the halo for the moon.
Next, I took some white acrylic paint and splattered on to the panel with paint brush. Once it's dry, I took some perfect pearls mist and splattered all over again for a little shimmer. By doing so, you can easily achieve the stary night back ground!
I cut the embossed panel that fits exactly to the size of the night sky panel and distress colored it with Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Black Soot inks and foam mounted it on to the panel.
And then I adhered the three cats on top of other, slightly off set, in different colors . It looks cool and dimensional, rt? ♥
After adhering the cat, I adhered the moon with foam tape. Before adhering I colored it with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
Finally stamped the sentiment with Archival jet Black Ink on a strip of white card stock and adhered it with foam tape as well!
And for the finishing touch, I applied Ranger Crystal Stickles on the cat's cheek, on the top of the wood grain panel, to the moon and applied a few dots here and there on the card panel.
Once everything is nice and ready I adhered the panel on to the main card base.
And that's it. I hope you like this card. Thank you so much for stopping by, take care and I'll see you soon! ;)
