Hello, and happy Monday to you. Anna is here.
I hope you had a good Easter day!
My week's inspiration theme is babies! I decided to use the "New Baby #2" die set for this card. It's a perfect set, and has so many great ways in which to use it. See the end of the post for instructions on how to make a Baby Onesie Card.
You Will Need:
- Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway Machine (White and Grey) (662220)
- Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 12PK - New Baby #2 (663365)
- Sizzix Accessory - Cardstock Sheets, 80PK (20 Colours) (663007)
- white blank card
- patterned paper (We R Memory Keepers - Simply Spring Collection - 6x6 Paper Pad-)
- sentiment strip
- label
- Nuvo - Crystal Drops (Tonic Studios)
- foam board tape
How cute is this card? This card would be perfect to accompany a gift of adorable little onesies for the new arrival. I chose to make it for a girl, but it could easily be changed to showcase blue clothing for a little boy.
I have used a soft colour combo. The baby onesie shape comes from the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 12PK - New Baby #2.
I have decorated the inside with the other baby shapes from the same set.
I did not have a 'welcome' stamp that was the right size and style so I printed this one from my computer.
I've included step-by-step instructions below, in case you are interested.
Instructions:
Cut a slightly smaller piece of patterned paper and glue.
Using Big Shot Machine, die cut the baby onesie using the Sizzix Thinlits die set. Assemble it.
Adhere the elements, as shown. Use foam squares to give select shapes dimension.
Accent with Nuvo - Crystal Drops.
I hope that you enjoy creating this card with me and I look forward to hearing from you and learning how your card turns out. Please tag your Sizzix creations with #mymakingstory and we will share them.
