Hello, friends! This is Jasleen, and today I’m sharing few creative gift wrap ideas using die-cuts.
Supplies from sizzix.co.uk:-
661164 --Sizzix Thinlits Die – From My Heart by Emily Atherton
Kraft paper and plain white paper for gift wrapping, coloured quilling strips, Baker’s twine, pearls, doily, pattern paper-Lawn Fawn Polka dots, Prima stencil-Bubbles, distress inks, Inkadinkado rubber stamps-musical notes, Archival black ink for stamping.
Here are few of the creative gift wrap ideas you can try out using die-cuts:-
The gift wrapping paper in the above picture was custom made by stamping some musical notes over a plain white paper. Those banners are from the Sizzix Thinlits plus die set-Cupcake box. There are many tiny accessory dies in this particular set and it’s very easy to make banners out of those. Doesn’t it make for a perfect gift wrap for a fun birthday? :)
This gift wrap uses an intricate die cut using Sizzix Thinlits die- From my heart and finished off with a Baker’s twine tied around.
This one’s the simplest of all. It was made using Sizzix Bigz Bows die. Even though it’s easy peasy and so simple, it looks classy with its minimalism, what do you think ?
The gift wrapping paper for the above example was made by sponging some distress inks in various colours through the Prima bubbles stencil over a plain white paper. For embellishing, I’ve used embossed feathers from Sizzix Bigz Feather duo die(it comes along with a co-ordinating embossing folder) , a doily and a few tiny colourful pearls.
So these are just a few ideas by which you can jazz up a plain-looking gift wrap to something pretty and aesthetic using the dies you may have in your hand. I hope you feel inspired to try something similar.
I’ll be back with something creative next week.
Have a beautiful week! :)
