Hello everyone! This is Deepti Stephens and welcome back! Today I'm going to show you how I made this DIY | No Fuss Plants perfect for home/room décor.

I love all the seasons! Every season has it's own significance! What I love about Autumn is the warm colours, hot coffee, comfy blankets, beautiful leaves and slightly chilly weather. The place where I live is already cloudy and wet. And I think this décor project is perfect for this season! I love plants but I don't have a place to plant them. So I came up with this idea, no fuss, no stress, nothing! No need to water them either ;) But this decor adds so much to your room/table. I have a small tutorial for you so let's get dive in to it now!

Method:

Take white or coloured card stocks according to the size of the Circle Framelits™ Die. I chose the third smallest Circle Framelits™ and the size of my card stock will be 8cm on all four sides, a square!

Next I distressed the edges of the card stock with a pair of scissors. You could use distress tool if you want! Since I don't have one I will be using my scissors and this will create an interesting look to the card stock.

Next I die-cut a bunch of circles from the square card stock by running it through the Big Shot™ Plus Machine.

I'm not throwing away the center part as I'm going to die-cut it again with the smaller circular framelit from Circle Framelits™ to make a smaller plant holder/pot.

Now all die-cut pieces are ready! As you can see that I kept four pieces un die-cut because they are going to be the base.

Next I coloured all the die-cuts with Vintage Photo, Frayed Burlap and Peeled Paint distress inks with the help of a ink blending tool and foam.

sizzix16

Now stack and adhere all the die-cut panels with the help of foam tape adhesive.

sizzix17

Now place the thermocol pieces into the plant holders and fill in the gaps as well.

sizzix18

Slightly color the thermocol pieces with Vintage Photo DIstress Ink to just look like pebbles, make a tiny slit in the thermocol and tuck the leaves with glue. And that's it! :)
