A. Hi Julie. This is perfectly normal so don’t worry. It’ would help to turn your plates over from time to time to help them stay even and last even longer. Happy crafting!
A. Hi Sharon. Thickness is not really the issue when it comes to die cutting metal or leather but how soft or pliable or soft the material is. I always keep old take-away cartons which is perfect for die cutting and embossing. As always, if it cuts with scissors it will be OK to use Bigz or Originals dies. Thanks
A. Hi Pilula. There are several manufacturers making sheets of craft metal specifically for die cutting and embossing many of which can be found online with a quick search. Always check with the retailer/manufacturer to ensure that it is right for your needs. Hope that helps!

You’ve got your machine and you’ve got your dies, just pick your chosen material and you’re ready to go!

All you need to do is put your chosen material on top of your die, layer the two between your cutting pads and roll it through the machine. When using our thinner Sizzlits and Embosslits you’ll also need to use the platform that comes with your machine to add extra depth. Take a look at the first question and answer below for details on how to use Framelits.
